I Ride: with dubious judgement, but niceness | Quote:
I was out with a couple of 'mates yesterday. Tore it up from S.E. Boise to Lowman to Banner Summit and back. No cops, VERY little traffic, and no prisoners were taken....thought of riding w/ you and Bill. More good times ahead, for sure!! | |

Thanks Bluesrider. No pictures of great rides, I have some pictures of my travels in Afghanistan. Here's a picture from a helicopter ride in Northern Afghanistan. Anywhere there is water, there will be green fields. I wonder how much poppy and marijauna fields I flew over? Hmmmm The high powered binos were pretty cool. I saw some sheep that were painted purple and saw some goats with orange stripes painted on them. Didn't expect to see some blinged out animals here. LOL! The kids wanted pens and my sunglasses. They tried handing me some cheetos looking snacks through the fence, way to much c-wire to risk that. The little boy in the white shirt, he was scared of my camera. Other than that the normal everyday life in Afghanistan. Trust me, you are not missing nothing here. |

Here are some more pics. Afghani's ride too...they even put bombs on these motorcycles. I lived in this one tent for three weeks at a Norwegian base I visited. Wasn't bad at all, I had a bed after all. Looks like fun, living the dream in Afghanistan. The bad english translation. This sign was telling you to wear your body armor past that point. This sign was near the entry control point for the base. We had a good laugh at it and told the Norwegians a life jacket was for boating safety. Hope you all have enjoyed the pics, sorry for the thread jack. |
