Re: ECHO

hahahah only 1 person from mt. home replied... sweeet. We would like to go to boise but my work schedule has been all messed up, and it seems as if you guys plan rides at perfectly wrong times/intervals, so well have to try and set up our own I guess before we ride up.

Im not worried about riding with you guys, its just the s*** ride up the i-state to get to you thats not that fun. Think of riding for 45 mins/hour straight up in traffic before you even get near your guyses twisties, thats what we gotta do.

Mark, what and where do you ride? A couple of us went up the hill yesterday all the way to fairfield. First time Ive been past the turn towards pine/featherville and I finally know why they say "its all flat that way" hahahah. Gave me time to practice the wheelies but thats about it

2wheelsdown, we ride, just dont post about it much and we cant really get a group ride going here like you guys can on the forums. You see how this post went over hahahah

Re: ECHO

there is the road that turns at the feed lot going into cj strike thats not too bad. then there is the road to fairview (we call it anderson hill or something to that effect, but usually turn around at the top where it starts to get flat). can go down the other side towards feathervill/pine its not too bad.... but for anything like im used to its up by you guys

yes that ride just to get to Boise area sucks....but try coming from Grand View! The rides back from Boise are bad just to get to Mt. Home...then Ive got to press on to Grand View. In the future, Iam putting the scooter on the trailer and parking it some where in Boise from now on. The riding days seems like they are disappearing to quickly. Busy schedule of crap and such.

Re: ECHO

agreed, going to gv makes it even worse hahahah. Do you just take simco road back or come all the way to exit 90...(by bk/chevron) then go back out?

My rear tire is almost gone for the moment, and by the time I get a new one levered on well be headed to south dakota for a week-ish. Sturgis here we come :P hahahah

Re: ECHO

If its just me, I will usually take Simco Rd. But if Iam with others, I usually tough it out and go to Mt. Home for the group ride. Rear tire.....sometimes I think I should just mount a car tire on the rear, that way its already flat in the middle . Riding to base and back from G.V. all year doesnt do much for the roundness of a rear. The rear is toast/flat in the middle, with the new tire wiskers on the edges I need a dual compound rear with extra hard in the middle, and extra soft on the edges...Actually I need to get with Jimmy Hendrick (Idaho Wolverine), he was using that Pilot dual compound, wonder how its holding up...

Re: ECHO

LOKI, Mark at "GB" rides a Blue 07 R6 with chromed out rims, swingarm and levers. Lives over by Legacy park. As for all you guys with the "flat rear tire" going on, it is not hard to do your own tires. The tools for the job are only about $30 total. Then just find the tire you like on the internet and change them your self.

Save MUCH money!!

If you bring them to me at the bike shop, I have to charge you for it.
