Walking to work from Kuna?

7/31/07 7:30 am. Northbound on 10 mile. Just north of Amity. R1 (Grey/black) rider with black Icon jacket. Stopped by KUNA POLICE. (This is well outside Kuna City Limits so I expect there was a bit of a chase).

Was on cellphone with the "will you please come get my bike" look on his face.

Officer Bob looked pissed.

Any takers?

HaHa....I know who this was, he was on the phone with me. They got him for not coming to a complete stop at the stop sign. I think they even gave him a wreckless??

Re: Walking to work from Kuna?

Now, I'm not trying to be pushy but:

1. Was he just informing you of his situation or did he have to park the bike and have someone come get it?

2. I've NEVER seen Kuna Cops (there's a Keystone/Kuna joke in here somewhere) I've never seen Kuna PD working 10 Mile and Amity. Ada County YES. Kuna--never. Did this cop follow him up from Kuna proper or have the Kuna City Limits expanded again? He was about a 1/4 mile from the Meridian city limits sign.

Thanks!

OH and give him my condolences...The Icon jacket looked great though!

Kuna City limits have expanded.. but we have a lot of Ada guys that are on the force.. that drive that BIG loop.. especially at night.. it is like they are bored and just drive some of the back roads.. I have seen these guys in some of the criazies spot latley.. One day on 10 mile creek road.. I was surpised that they found there way out there.. that road is a 35 mile speed limit.... that is a hard road to travel the posted speed limit!!

Re: Walking to work from Kuna?

Who headed to Idaho City at about 8:20 on Tuesday night without inviting anyone? I was coming back from Idaho City and was just breaking in my new front tire. I was wearing hunter orange jacket. Also, who was on Freeway by Micron at approx. 1:30 headed towards Boise at about 85 mph. on a lightning blue motorcycle? Just curious is all. I kind of have to go the speed limit for a while longer.

Re: Walking to work from Kuna?

Well he had to leave the bike cause they took his license from him saying that it was suspended which it wasn't from what he told me. But yes someone did come pick-up his bike for him.

The cop was headed towards Nampa on Columbia and he was taking a left at that stop sign on Ten Mile, that's where he got him.

And yes that Icon jacket is pretty fancy. I like it!

Too bad. Glad he didn't have to have the tow truck come get it. I think Ponch and John have figured out the most annoying thing they can do is make people park the bike. Sounds like they've parked a lot of people up lately...
