Cider leaving Bogus - Oct 7th

Spotted Cider as he finished up a Bogus Basin ride (I'm assuming that's where he was coming from) and I was heading up around 3:30 or 4:00 pm.
It was a nice day for a ride and I figured that since illness prevented me from heading to Riggins yesterday, I'd better get a little bit of road time in. I even did about 10 miles on the back roads @ Bogus just to enjoy the scenery a bit more.

I saw several bikes up there today, but Hoz was the only one I recognized. Unfortunately, there were a bunch of cars, too. How rude.

There were an inordinate number of cars up there today. Most were pretty cool and let me pass, others were in decent spots and easily passed before they wasted any good corners.

not to change the topic but your posts sparked a question is it rude to pass cars that move way over to the shoulder to what seems to let me by. just trying to be a responsable rider and all..

I figure if they moved over to the shoulder, they're doing so for me to pass and so I go for it without feeling rude at all. Now if you blast past a car and then cut right back in front of them before diving into a corner, THAT would be rude. And I've quit doing that.

Yeah I feel the same way. To me it wuld be rude not to take the pass that is generously offered to me by the guy riding the shoulder.
