OK, I am only in college algebra, but how in the heck do you get 2.125 out of 2.44* if you round down?

* = I couldn't figure out how to put the line above the 4 like it should be.

the 2.125 comes from figuring she really only comprehended 19.5 years out of the 22 yeas she has lived...comes out to 2.16 but i like using 1/8" incriments since most of the world cant calculate for 16ths or 32nds.

Don't know if you have the math down (and really don't care...), but maybe you need to work on spelling and grammar now.
If the Chipseal Program is on a 9 year cycle, why have they done the street in front of my house twice and I have only lived here about 3 years??

Re: CHIP SEAL

I thought that Hubbs would have come along with some rediculous math equation for this by now. You know, something like... She is 22 but x^2+y^3=c tells us how many years she has comprehended society... and every nine years they rotate the schedule keeping in mind that x^2-y^2=c^3xa^2 so we can determine that it has happened x^3-3yx^2 times in her lifetime.

Thumbs down Idaho, the great chip seal state...

Who ever came up with this idea should be

Why in the hell does chip seal need to be laid down in the metro areas and even suburbs of the Great Boise area. Seems like there just being lazy and using a cheap method of saving money when they should be out laying down good pavement and leaving the rural areas open for chip seal since those roads are as travelled as much. Really think the ACHD needs to be regulated more. There a little too happy with chip seal. I've already got 2 dings in my cars wind shield now from that crap and the glass isn't even a year old. This is what happens when ACHD isn't attached to any governing office. That i Know of...Needs more regulation.

FYI,
The new road at warm springs and E Barber Park Rd, north of warm springs is done, all nice and new black pavement. The new Park Center bridge to open later this month.
There re-paving East and West bound lanes between Hwy 21 bridge and the camp ground by lucky peak.

I'm sure they'll all be chip sealed before snow falls.
Ok, I'm done.

I just rode Map Rock Rd last weekend and it looks like they chip sealed that one, not as scenic as I thought it'd be, but then it was also cold, windy & cloudy, can't wait for more sun. Had to pass it the first time by with a truck pulling a trailer heavy on my tail doing a good 70mph, didn't wanna end up roadkill.

I Don't belive the chip seal on map Rock is new. I know there is not enough traffic to really pound the chips into the pavement.
