Thanks to WD for not asking where we should hang, but instead, telling us where he was going to be hanging and waiting for the bufoonery to ensue. Not much asshattery to speak of but I did meet some nice folk. Here are some pics of the event. Not sure if posting pics outside the pics subforum is kosher, but I'm not orthodox so the eating of shellfish and pork is fine. What's that mean? Not much, but if this ain't cool, lemme know and I'll rectify it next time by posting pics in the appropriate place. With that, let the photomockery begin.... Oh, one last thing, I'm really lousy with names unless they're written down on a police blotter or name tag, so if I get your names or handles wrong, feel free to correct them. If I see it in writing, even with all your lousy spelling (speeling, for the phonically challenged), it'll stick. Then again, with what I have to say, you may not want to rectify any mistaken identities.

In the Circle, jerking: From right to left... WD enjoying his thumb a bit too much, Hubbs creepily enjoying his cone, Liteone aghast and fighting off the urge to wretch, Mikey waiting to get in on some of the soft cone goodness, Little Mikey contemplating the bald guys' love of soft serve, Littler Mikey and Mrs Mikey's shoulder.





Same Circle, different strokes: From right to left again (forgive me, my mother is Japanese, they read right to left)... WD scampering off to clean up and have a smoke (yeah, you guys figure it out), Mrs Mikey looks on in sheer and unabashed disgust, Turbo2theMax getting pissed cuz he missed out on the cone orgy and has to fly solo, Buellcru figuring out the whole order thing, Little Buellcru had it figured out when they rolled in and has since lost interest and fallen asleep (he really likes whipped cream, btw. We had a brief conversation about it. I started to go into how it's made and he gave me that 'shut it old man, I'm eating' look, so I stopped)...





In the lot: OK, we'll go left to right this time, even though the gang is standing in a circle... 2wheelsdown threatening everyone within earshot with a chocolate cone, Hubbs mildly amused at 2wd's sugar high induced bravado, Little buellcru and buellcru watchin for cops, WD highly amused and rollin up his sleeves in preparation for the twist cone throwdown, Mrs Hoard fighting back the tears because she abhors violence and processed foods, Hoard yelling at 2 kids in the back of the black pickup with the lifted tonneau cover (there were 2 little bitty kids back there eating ice cream and calling all of us out...), Liteone planning his attack (looks like he intends to throat punch Hubbs followed by hacky sacking 2wd's dangly bits, by then, the rest of the gang would run away in fear)... Oh yeah, and lots o'bikes, look at em all. I'll mock people, I won't mock bikes, well, not tonight at least.




Still in the lot: Irritated Eyes? WTF? I have no idea what that billboard is all about. In this scene, Liteone is apologizing to 2wd for playing David Beckham on his soccer balls, Hubbs hangs his head not in shame but in the classic defensive stance to fend off throat punches, Rhonda makes her photog debut, Mrs Hoard storms off (remember, she abhors violence), Hoard is lecturing the crew about said violence (I heard him utter the phrase 'can't we all just get along'), Turbo2tm about to set his face on fire, WD getting ready to defile a bike that is not his and buellcru is taking in every word of Hoard's soliloquy (word of the day, use it 10 times and it'll be yours forever)...




Whew, I'm spent. I can poke fun no more this eve. Sorry if any of you are in witness protection. You can re-locate to Melba, nobody goes there either.

Ok, so I decided to take a quick look before I went to bed after a long day! BIG mistake! OMG where to start, wife fell out of bed and almost pee'd herself from laughing as I read Robs book with pictures. I laughed so hard that I fell over, not off but over my chair. I absolutely love how you explain things Rob, BRAVO!

That is something that when riding you really don't think about, but the sun doesn't have a chance to warm up the roads at an even rate, sometimes not at all. Most of the time you can actually feel the temperature change especially at higher elevations, and at that point don't matter how warm your tires are, the corner can be slick as ice.

As for the ice cream, I had several offers to purchase mine, otherwise it could have been really interesting trying to take Misbehavins! LOL
