E11charlie,

Was that you pulled over on Meridian road? I passed kind of fast and couldn't see but it looked like your bike.

I wish it was here then I could just buy her her own. She was looking at the bass boat as a possibility. This week end we are going to hit a parking lot, she does not seem as scared of this one as the cruiser. Maybe I should get some frame sliders before I do though.

Frame sliders definetly!!! My wife dropped her FZ thirty minutes after bringing it home. It had the sliders on it already and I had absolutely no damage whatsoever on the bike. She also dropped it in the garage about a week after that to...lol She is much better now about keeping the shiny side up!! It will also make her more comfortable and relieve some of the stress on her if she knows that if she makes a little mistake your only out a twenty dollar slider and not a half of a bike.

I wouldn't bother with frame sliders for low speed drops. Do what Matt did and put a cage on it. Even with low speed drops the body work stays in one piece. Once she is past the dropping stage, then replace with a good set of frame sliders. When you do, go with a derlin style puck instead of metal.

Its not up on craigslist or anything we will be back from yellowstone on the 25th and leave for Washington on the 31st so you still have time. I really dont want to ride it all the way to Washington so it would really be nice if you bought it.
