I'll meet you guys there but I'll have to peel off at Horseshoe Bend to head over to Emmett. I don't think I could make the loop and be back in Garden City by 4 PM for work.

So after much texting, KY and swapping of tampons...we'll be at Chevron also. Beacon is the Chevron off 55, not the one out by Micron, correct? I don't know the Lowman Loop, so is this kind of like HSB but not going through Emmett?

Because I was on those roads this week. All the rain caused alot of runoff on at least a dozen places on Hwy 21. The runoff put all kinds of sandbars and debris on the road. If you go, take lots of pictures of your bike before the ride (in case you get all nostalgic later on).

I guess it really doesn't matter where you ride at, the roads are going to be crappy in some places due to the rain we had here.

That road gets rock slides even in the nicest weather. I wouldn't let it stop you from riding out there. It's a nice ride with interesting scenery.

Just pay attention to the landscape on the side of the road. If it's steep with dirt and rocks, then there might be debris in the road.

Lol and that pic is nothing in comparison to that ride you and I did last winter. I'm not sure why niether of us take a pic of that. The road was completely covered with avocado sized rocks, and larger, in a couple of spots.

All the way from Eagle to Lowman, roads are great. Between Lowman and IC though, there's quite a bit of black chipseal gravel on the parts that they oiled. Really no debris from off the road however.

Good ride. Weather was great.

Awesome ride today. That's the first time i've done the loop completely from from Beacon Chevron to Gowen Chevron. Other than a few miles of gravel and 2 soaking wet patches of asphalt w/ snow on the sides, it went perfectly. Definately wanna do that one again, going the other way.

BTW - what the hell does a guy gotta do to be able to upload more than one stupid pic at a time?

Below are the pics from Beacon Chevron

You were fine bro. If I wanted to pass, I'd find a way to safely do it. Being two up is definately different, but I held up pretty damn good Definately looking forward to cutting that up w/o a passenger so I can push it harder. Hell, i'm still happy that I'm getting better gas mileage now to since I swapped in that new regulator/rectifier...today was a win win!

Yeah, it was my buddies S. You're name actually came up because I didn't know there was an S and SS.

Other than Christy's ride tomorrow, I don't know what else is goin on tomorrow. Maybe we should start coordinating the same ride for tomorrow going the reverse direction.

Anyone wanna meet at the Gowen Chevron tomorrow @ 11am?
