Thanks for the jaunt up to Horseshoe Bend guys, although you were all confusing the hell outta me with the constant group rearranging and close car passing.

At the bottom of the hill my speedo cable popped out and was rubbing the front tire, so I had to stop. Coming down the hill, I noticed some SEVERE balance issues on the front, I hope the tire just isn't balanced correctly.

The ride to Emmett was boring. One decent corner, just one. After visiting my friend over there I checked out Old Freezeout, which has a ton of potential. Does anyone want to lend me a shovel and a street sweeper?

How is there only one decent corner between Emmett and HSB? I've been enjoying all of them for the past couple of decades. I like them all. I'm curious how you conclude on only ONE corner.

Today's group consisted of alot of people that have not ridden together before, so once we hit two lanes going up over HSB, the ones that want to go faster moved up front. Typical HSB pace, nothing too crazy.

Close is relative when you're using 998cc's vs 250cc's to pass :P That sucks about your bike, hopefully you're able to get it straightened out.

What is "the lake"? I'm trying to see if anyone wants to do the Lowman/IC starting in Gowen and ending at Beacon. If not, i'll probably start following Christy's thread since that's a ride I've never been on either.

Lake Lowell with Map Rock river road. A loop that takes you from Nampa and out towards Marsing and then along the Snake river.
Not as long of a ride, can be done in an hour or so. Depending on how much BSing there is.
There is a lot of variety of curves, but no switchbacks and bring lens cleaner, at least during the summer, for all the bugs.

It is always nice riding with you, it's the only time my visor is ever that clean! But, if Chads not with you, then just stop and Dans Ferry and use the squeegy! LOL I have! hahha

i saw your front tire bouncing around when you passed me, probably just a balancing issue but it looked pretty violent
