Grumbler

Met my bud, Bruce, at the Warm Springs Chevron at about 11am today.

We took Hill Rd, et al, out to SH-55 and stopped at the Longbranch in
HSB for a late brekkie (mine was a pair of hotcakes and scrambled
eggs with bacon for $6).

Done, we headed out to the Garden Valley Chevron for a top-off then
fell behind a dude on silver Moto-Guzzi at the stoplight. No pavement
at that short section. Moto-Guzzi dude did the pace then pulled over
at Southfork Lodge in Lowman while we continued to Idaho City.

There was some gravel on those big tar patches as well as a wet spot,
but didn't slow us down much. Looks as if a vehicle rolled over by the
northbound lane of Hwy 21 just south of Moore's Summit. Didn't see
it, but Sheriff SUV was there as well as FD Utility Truck and couple of
other vehicles with neon poles placed on road.

We saw a big diesel towing truck coming up the road about a mile
south of the "accident" so it's probably safe to assume that they
had to close the road for awhile.

BTW, hardly any other motorcycles around that day at least until
we arrived in Idaho City.

Stopped at Trudy's Kitchen for coffee and huckleberry pie. Done, Bruce
split-off at Wilderness Ranch while I continued home.

Nice day for a ride with hardly any traffic other than all the campers
on southbound SH-55.

That "dude" on the Guzzi likely, was my dad. Glad you had fun!

We first spotted him taking a leak by edge of turnout on Lowman-Banks Rd then he passed by while at Garden Valley Chevron. He has a cool bike.
