I Ride: 2006 ST1300A-02'Falco

This Mornings Ride

Knew the weather was turning for the worse so I left early to beat the rain.Main reason was to try the gear I picked up from this thread. http://boiseriders.net/general-discu...gear-sale.html Been riding to work every day but that is only 20 miles one way.Today I went to Bruneau which was 170 miles round trip.Even cruising in the triple digits you can't run the gear on the high setting.I picked up the gloves, liner and dual controller for $256 shipped.Saw 5 Leos today on 78 and none of them had their radar on.

I Ride: Victory Kingpin, The Harley is deceased :(

I am way jealous. No bike at the moment, and I can't ride till spring due to my back. The new bike should be in the garage by next weekend. Then several months of adding things like exhaust, a little body work (chin spoiler), and whatever extras my family gets me for Christmas to put on the bike! Then springtime, ride slow till motor is broken in properly, that will be the longest 600-1000 miles of the year. Then if my back is doing well enough, we'll see how she does in the twisties!

I Ride: Ninja 650r

I just stuck with about 40 miles today. No heated gear required!

Thats the method I used on my ST. 42,000 miles and it never takes any oil between changes.

I'm not sure how my old FZ1 was broken in but like ST it never used oil in the 25,000 miles that I rode it. I may have to try this, Which means no running the bike till I can ride it. Dang!

The link doesn't work for me... I had the great honor of breaking in two different motors in the gsxr 1000 The first motor was broken in according to the owners manual, and the second motor I broke in using the "racer method". With the "racer method" I noted a small but noticeable amount of power increase.

I definitely need some heated gear
