I Ride: Victory Kingpin, The Harley is deceased :(

Saturday the 13th. Map Rock Rd

Thinking about riding the Map Rock Rd. loop on Saturday. Meet at the Lake Shore Chevron on hwy 45 in Nampa at 1:30 pm. Thinking about riding it the opposite direction this time. Then ride out to Dan's Ferry Service for some gas station food and a soda.

Saturday should be good rain till around 10 am then partly cloudy. 48 degrees at 1pm should make for some good riding weather. Saturday it shall be!

if you guys go - please post up a road report. I'm thinking of doing this tomorrow (Vday is lame - i'd rather RIDE!)

Also...can someone map this out for me? I've never done this loop.

1330 sounds good as the weather isn't going to change much.

Thanks aci!

But...I'm confused. I understood this to be a loop? By the look of this map it's a straght shot following a river.

I make it a sorta loop by riding the back side(south or southwest?) of lake lowell.

Dang it. I could have made it at 1400. When I left my place I realized it was already almost 1340 by the time I got to Lake Hazel and Cloverdale so, I went back home. Doh!

Well it wasnt that great. A little bit of water and just about every curve on map rock had gravel on it. But still fun to get out and about. Oh yeah Canyon county was working over time today too. One officer pulled over two people in less than 20 minutes right in front of the Chevron.
