I know most of yall are sport bike riders but it would be nice to have some sport bikes here besides me at least show up and support this. This last year we have a new American legion riders chapter in Nampa. First one on this side of the state. We are gearing up for hopefully a lot of things to do this year. Our first official gathering is tentatively scheduled for May 8th. It is going to be a poker run with proceeds to benefit the wounded warriors fund. http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ We will start at the American legion chapter in Nampa and have five stops the last being back at the chapter headquarters. The other stops include Marsing, Kuna, the busted shovel in Meridian, and then back. This isnt going to be a big mob mostly just people leaving and taking what routes they want to get to each stop so no set route. We are going to have local vendors there for food and other things like t-shirts etc. There will be no drinking tolerated on this. We also have planned for later this year a fundraiser to benefit the State veterans home where we will collect and then present to the home at dinner. Maybe even take some of the guys at the home on a ride. Even if you dont plan on taking the run at least show up to support the local vendors. I will post later when we get the press release out and everything is finalized.
