I Ride: on sidewalks if needed.

Floating feather Chevron is the normal meet. Post up a time for meeting there with a KSU no later than 30 mins after that.

I would say though to wait at least until noon and ksu at noon-30 that way the sun has a chance to warm up so I don't end up trying to make myself as small as possible behind my windscreen while shivering my arse off...LOL

broadway is way the other side of town for some of us. If you guys want to meet there and ride to the Eagle road chevron by the interstate, then I could go with that. It would give a central point for linking up

since you are new to group rides and no one else has said anything yet, there are certain rules of the road. dont haul ass and pass others in the straights only to jam on your brakes at the start of the corner. also if someone looks like they want to go around, slide over and wave them by. im sure the people you go with will let you know of any other ones as well. be safe kids, roads are still cold

Thank you for the heads up. I will be mindful of this and anything anyone else points out. I, of course, am open to any/all advice.

sounds good, we tentitively planned to meet at 1145 at a cheveron on broadway, but I'm trying to remember which one that is. THIS IS HOW I UNDERSTOOD IT....... That stop is just to round up everyone on this side of town, and then we head off immediately to the main meet up spot between 12-12:30 at Floating Feather Cheveron in Eagle. HSB/ Blackcanyon/Emmette.
Im unclear if they are planning on riding into nampa after that, but I'm thinking I'll be headed back to boise from Emmette to do massive amounts of homework

I have no idea where that is. Do you want to meet at FF cheveron at 12-12:30. Its sounding like that is where the main group would leave from, we are just going to shuttle from boise togeather to there. If ya'll are from the same area, you could probly do the same thing Does that sound ok?

I Ride: Can I borrow yours?

As long as I can get my permit tomorrow, I am up for any ride as long as I can be home by about 3:30 or 4 because I have to be at work at 4:30. I am a brand newbie, so please keep that in mind, lol.

I live off Midway and Moss in Nampa, so I could meet up with the Nampa/Caldwell people. The only thing that sucks is that if I am able to ride, I can't take the freeway.

Just let me know where you guys want to meet (unless you just want me to meet everyone at FF chevron in eagle, or any other spot, due to the fact I won't be able to ride the freeway) and I will let everyone know tomorrow if I was able to get my permit.

Just had to say this, but I just finished reading the book, answering the section questions, and taking the sample test. I passed with 100% (without cheating)! I am very confident I will pass the written test tomorrow!!! Wish me luck!

I Ride: Victory Kingpin, The Harley is deceased :(

I'm up for HSB to Emmett. We could grab a snack at the Blue Ribbon Cafe, good food there. Then, ride the same route back. It makes for a nice ride. Here's how it looked back in October, the last time we rode it. The bike in front is Linker33.

I'll be at the Beacon Light Chevron at 12:45, that should give those of you meeting on Broadway a chance to meet up and ride out to there.

Ok I think there is a little confusion. I went back through the thread and people have different times to be at Beaaconlight chevron. Firehawk since this is your baby what time do you want to leave the Beaconlight chevron? Romo I am meeting CMS at his house if you want to do that.

Never mind Romo looks like we would be leaving from the GemStop. I think we should leave around 1130 to make it to the chevron on time but that is the military talking in me.

good luck, if you get your permit.. just plan to meet us at BL cheveron. that way you wont have to worry about the freeway. Provided that you make it you can ride in the back with me. just remember, ride your own ride at all times and dont let anyone pressure you into pushing your self. I think this will be a slower pased ride anyways. I'm thinking of volunteering to ride sweep.

Haha. I go to bed and one class and everyone is confused. Sorry for it taking me so long. So okay. The Chevron on Broadway ave in Boise is located 1 block south of Boise ave on Broadway ave. This stop is just to collect the South East Boise people with Kick Stands Up(KSU) at 11:45am. We then head over to the meeting point at Floating Feather Chevron in Eagle, and leave there no later than 12:30 with KSU.

I am meeting at the Chevron on Broadway ave in Boise at 11:30ish for KSU at 11:45. You guys figure out how long it will take you to get to the Floating Feather Chevron in Eagle if you are meeting somewhere else in the state. (Please correct me if I'm confused)

I passed!!! I got 100%. I am DEFINITELY joining the ride, if that is ok with everyone. Is there anyone that would be willing to meet up with me a little earlier somewhere here in Nampa or Caldwell to do a quick check on my bike to make sure it is good for a ride? Also, how long does this loop take?

Congrats. Now you get to hear the be safe speech. Just be safe and ride your ride. Don't try to keep up with anyone. Know the route ahead of time so if the group gets to far ahead of you you will know where to go.

Ride safe and have fun.
