I often carry mine on the sides when riding around local neighborhoods, downtown, etc...but I ALWAYS throw it on if I'm going onto twisties w/ a group, the freeway or just about any other road that has highway type of speed limits. I do enjoy having the option though when running to the store, etc. Last edited by m5james; 03-27-2010 at 11:16 PM.

putting a helmet on the side saves gas. Reduces wind drag actually creating about 50 extra horsepower. Like putting a wing on a stock honda lol

oh for sure for sure. i heard if you put a carbon fiber hood on those things with some stupidly loud exhaust it will drop them into the 9's. 8's if its dual exhaust

Dude everyone knows that Lambo doors aren't for Horsepower, that's how you boost your torque output. If you ad 20" rims with lambo doors, carbon fiber hood and rear wing, Then that civic is faster than a Murciellago..... |

By this point I am laughing in my helmet at this kid because he is acting like this and obviously didnt have any clue that there was a bike cop sitting like a half block ahead of us radaring people going down the road that we were on and was looking right in our direction. So, I figure, why not, I am going to see how stupid this guy really is. So I look at him and shake my head "yes" and get in launch position with the revs sitting at like 5 grand waiting for the light to turn green. The kid also revs his car up and is focused on the light. So when the light turns green I act like I am going to rip out of there but just take of all nice and slow and this kid strait up just dumps the clutch, front wheels smoking pretty good, making LOTS of noise and rips away through the intersection. He literally grabbed a WOT second gear shift right in front of the cop. The cop immediately pulls out and stops the guy and I ride by him just cruising easy laughing my azz off. The dude didnt look to happy about what he had just done. That totally made my day!

lol the best one for me was a dude in ....no shit... a geo metro LSI convertable with a fart can exhaust. He said,"those things can not be that fast... hell my geo would smoke that thing..." He reved up his engine, let out on the clutch with an impressive, 1/10th of a second chirp as his tires tried to squil. We went about 4 blocks to the next stop sign and he had the nerve to laugh at me for not smoking him. Little did he know i never even shifted my bike. I told him to give me another shot and he did. i never looked back once the front tire hit the gound the second time and i am rather certain he will never again talk down to a bike again..
