It takes just under an hour.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!!!!

TODAY!!!!!

Call the Fairfield Ranger district and talk to Kathy.
FAIRFIELD RANGER DISTRICT
208-764-3202

Kathy is REALLY nice. Ask her nicely to put a few trail maps and a few activity maps outside somewhere for you......as the office will be closed Monday. The Sawtooth area mountains are some of the prettiest mountains around, and they are REALLY close to you folks in Mt Home. You are a bad person if you don't take up the opportunity to buy some camping gear while you are stationed there and take the family up for a weekend sometime this summer. You get to experience Idaho at its best. Just a beautiful place.

Oh yeah, for anyone that is interested in dirtbiking, that particular District (Sawtooth Ranger District) has more miles of singletrack riding than any other in the state, and I believe more than any other in the country.

Anybody else up for a ride? So far only four people going. Trying to get some mt. Home people that want to meet some people and go for a ride. The more people the better. We had 20 bikes out today.

Be real careful out there today.Lots of impatient people trying to get home from the mountains.Especially watch for coolers and tarps that have fallen into the road.

Man that weather really didnt play along in the mountains. Would have been a much nicer ride if we did Hammet, Bruneau to grandview. Oh well!! next time. It was nice meeting you guys. I hope you guys can join us for some more group rides. I want more mt. home folks riding when we go out with the boise guys, we are seriously out numbered on those rides.lol

It was nice meeting you guys too. I didn't think the weather was too bad, but I do wish I had my jacket liner in. I look forward to the next ride.

Your right the weather could worse maybe snowing, and at some points in that ride it felt like it could have. I don't think I was ever so happy to see Mt Home. Glad we took our time and I had my hand gestures working overtime. I still can't believe that guy in coming up the hill on his cell phone in our lane!
