i hope he's going to be ok. head lacerations and cuts are fine, but a severe head injury sucks.

Which summit, Beaver Creek or Mores Creek? Sure hope the dude is okay. Good point about wearing a helmet. I'd like to see more cruiser riders wearing fullface helmets by choice. There's the perception that many people who ride cruisers are lifestyle riders. To them, it's more about the image than a love of riding. Besides, how many of them really focus on improving their riding skills? |

I was on one of the cruisers yesterday that you are speaking of. It would have been mores creek summit. The rider was ahead of us in the group. I was on the POW/MIA ride for the veterans home. I do not think he was with us but yes from eyewitness reports he was scraping pegs all through coming down the side finally got straight and when you look at something that is the way you go well, he was looking at the wall. A doctor who just happened to be a couple of cars back when it happened administered CPR and he was life flighted to Boise. That is all I know as of now but as for wearing a helmet I agree. You had to have seen me and my riding partner? The only 2 on the road with ORANGE vest on.

I Ride: Victory Kingpin, The Harley is deceased :( |
HDHD recieved his bike today. Apparently, he was dead and then revived, taken to St. Al's in critical condition. He did a face plant on a rock and is now missing most of his face! We can only hope that he survives ok and his familhy will be alright. |

I was also on the ride with Boise Valley POW/MIA raising funds for the Veterans Home. As we approached the wreck site, they already had 1st responders there. I guess the chase vehicle for BV POW/MIA had a certified EMT, as he was there along with the 1st responders. Life flight came and lifted him out. The guys from BV POW/MIA loaded the big Harley cruiser in their chase trailer and brought it back to Boise. This injured guys fellow riders and the LEO were both thankful for them loading the bike to get the loop opened back up quickly. They were headed towards Lowman, the BV POW/MIA ride was going clockwise, so it was not one of them guys. I hope the guy is ok, there was blood across the road as mentioned above. He went down on the big sweeper before the park and ski area (headed north to Lowman) and Edna Creek campground. I believe it is around mile marker 56?
