Last call. Leaving tomorrow morning from beacon light chevron just after 8 a.m. Moved the time a little earlier to be back earlier. There are some that will peel off at lowman and head back to boise via idaho city. The rest of us will head the other way up to stanley and back through sun valley.

Here is the route from mapquest http://www.mapquest.com/maps?1c=Eagl...v=CITY#mqPgSt6 Those long straight lines from south of Sun Valley are really that bad.I may ride to Stanley but I am not going thru Sun Valley.Well the map didn't show the whole route in blue but the straight lines are still there.

It's pretty much a drone south of the 21/75 jct. OTOH, the
twisties btw Stanley and Sunbeam/Clayton rock. Whenever
I look at the map, the distance back to Boise via Sun Valley
looks twice as long via Lowman/Idaho City.

BTW, it's gonna be 100+ degrees here on Sunday. I know
only too well how that feels from Sun Valley to Boise.

Better off doing Sun Valley Loop counterclockwise so as
to do low elevations in morning and high elevations on way
home.

Did you have lunch at the Bridge Street Grill? Wish they hadn't
enclosed so much of the rear patio. Only 3 tables outside plus
the counter with stools.

It was a good ride other than the fact we got seperated from the group and helped out with an accident just before Lowman and helped paramedics and life flight with an accident. The guy took a left turn too wide and hit the guard rail. He supermaned it over the handle bars and hit the road face first with a open faced helmet. We recieved news back later that he broke his right leg, right arm just below the shoulder, 7 ribs, right lung collapsed and missing teeth. This was quite the reality check. I am sold on full faced helmets and paying attention to the road. We continued to stanley (saw you bill as you were leaving) then went to sun valley and then the long ride through fairfield to mountain home. It was an eventful ride and I really hope the downed rider has a full and speedy recovery. Everybody be careful out there, it could be any one of us.

No Group Ride - just a craving for some IC food and blue cow frozen yogurt
