I Ride: 2009 Suzuki SV650S | Yes, counter clockwise. The sole reason being so I can't miss the turn to Idaho City; this will be my first time around the loop. Yes. On my Ninja 250. With 35hp. |

Actually, doing the loop for first time clockwise isn't an issue. Keep in mind it's NORTH to Banks, EAST to Lowman, and SOUTH to Idaho City and Boise. When you get to the "T" or end of Banks-Lowman Road at the SH-21 jct, turn right (south). If you have a PC, use Google maps and the Street View option which is what I do when checking out new routes. |

Sure enough, they drove the Google van around the loop. I see what you are saying about that turn, impossible to miss either direction. I haven't looked at the map in a while. Still going to go counter-clockwise though. |

Limped the 250 home, I counted 20 stoplights. Only rode through one of them. After the last 5 or so, I couldn't get it to stay in second gear. |
