Places to ride near Boise

I just moved back to Boise and I didn't start riding until I had moved away. So, if you have been riding around here please post up some routes/places you ride to so anyone new to riding in Boise will be able to share the joy it brings you. Also, where I was living there were some bike nights that happened on a weekly basis, if you know of one, post that up as well!
