I'm glad I stayed away from there today. I'm sure they are in a place where they can see you coming and then zap you with radar or laser. Hopefully they will be gone before the end of the season.

Funny thing. We ran into the State Bulls on BMWs outside of Garden Valley. We were on our quads riding from the trail to the Crouch Rd turnoff. I was pleasantly suprized that they didn't nick us.

Left my digs just north of Federal Way/E. Amity Rd at 10:30am
yesterday doing a 2-up ride with wife to Idaho City. Didn't see
any LEOs on way to Trudy's Kitchen where we had lunch. At
noon, two ISP motocops rode south past Trudy's then, maybe
20-30 minutes later, rode north past Trudy's.

We left at about 3pm from Gold Mine after watching Rick and
his cohort doing the blues. No LEOs except for Sheriff SUV at
turnout a mile before the one-lane stoplight. He fell in behind
us and a cager then turned off at Arrowrock.

Yeah, we saw a full grown Alaska Timber Wolf leashed in back
of pickup truck at grocery store next to Trudy's. Owned by an
older bearded local. Beautiful -- thought it was Siberian Husky
or Malemute at first, but too big for former and too lean for
latter along with straight tail. I personally view wolves as
being too hyperactive and intelligent to be pets.

Also, at one of the rummage shops, wife found a used T-Bag
Tahoe (large motorcycle touring bag) for $15 plus tax which
we hauled home. It retails for around $200!

This guy? Seen him a few time riding around on top of the cab.

I Ride: kawasaki ZX-14, Suzuki Eiger, Yamaha Bruin, and a Artic Cat 250.

I saw 5 cops yesterday on the way to IC. Two of them were on bikes.

That does look like it although it was on a box inside the bed
rather on top of the cab. Owner said not to get too close to
wolf as it's very protective. He got it from friends who had
to give it up due all the howling. Also said it's illegal to own
a wolf in Boise although that's not an issue in Idaho City.

I grew up with a Wolf and german sheperd mix. BEST dog I ever owned and in no way was mean or aggressive.

tc305,

I think we pass you heading East between Banks and Crouch around 10:30ish. Of course, we stopped in Crouch and went back down the same way we came up. There was 7 of us riding though it was more like a group of 4, ZX6r, R1, Ninja 250, Beat up R6 and a group of 3 XR350, Honda Naked Goldwing and CBR1000RR. We never saw any cops on those roads though. Perhaps we got lucky going back down the same way we came up.

I Ride: 95 CR500R, various sleds

that is a husky. wolves are really big, and a full grown one is not real likely to be confused with any kind of domesticated dog
