The pre-wedding ride

So Lee and I get married on Sat the 11th, then were in Cancun for a good long time.

Looks like this coming weekend is my last chance to ride for a while!

Ride date: 9/4/10
Meet at Albertson's Eagle rd. and State St. 9:30 AM. KSU 10:00 AM
Ride up to Cascade for breakfast/lunch......and back!
Gotta be back in plenty of time to head off to the Junker wedding!

Construction on HSB hill - we'll hit black canyon on the way out :-)

I'm going to have a nice lunch at the Cascade Subway (Spicy BMT), then I'll ride to Warm Lake, Stanley, and Sun Valley. Go have prime rib at the Pioneer, get a room at the SV Lodge, and spend the rest of the day in the hot tub swilling Bombay Martinis until I'm comatose. Sunday morning its brunchtime. Those of you confined to the pavement will just have to bid us farewell at Warm Lake. (insert smug look here.)

Maybe a route change? Hwy 55 is being chip sealed from Shadow Valley to HSB. Go through Emmett to HSB?

Good Call Scharf...I forgot about that. We can also black canyon to HSB then on to Warm Lake / Cascade.

I can't think of a good meet up place though for that direction. Do you know of a meet up spot? (I'll change the main post)

so after a long 2 1/2 mos layoff from riding and now i have finally fixed the bike electrically and has been really looking forward to this ride, rode the bike for two days of sheer joy! so the bike is ready to go .... so i thought. found out yesterday evening that it has a flat tire. sure enough, a screw in my rear tire.... WTF, can i just get a break. anyways, rant over. MissK sorry not able to make this one. nxt time, congrats on your wedding. y'all be safe.

Awesome ride guys! I had a lot of fun. I will definitely love to do that ride again and get used to it so I can start taking it like you guys did in the front. That will be when I get some good tires on this beast though.
