Ride this weekend

So I want to ride this weekend. I would like to scrub in the tires. I am not going to post the when and where as I am positive there are cops surfing this site. If anyone has plans text me.

I Ride: on sidewalks if needed.

Oh for jesus's sake there aren't any cops wasting their time reading up on BRN. Lets see we post up a ride going through some beautiful roads. lets say 15 people show up. maybe 5-8 of those people may have never gone down that particular stretch and love it afterwards. They tell all of their buddies about the road and before long it's a popular stretch of road. Now add in that one of those newer riders to said road is a crazy azzhat who is fockin around being dangerous. Someone in a car sees this and calls him in. Now after few calls the police make it a point to check out said road occasionally. They may catch a couple people but no big woop. If they continue to perpetually catch people OR they get a bunch more calls than they start patrolling said road on a regular basis. That is whats happening to the roads around here, I mean how many years have we been haulin azz up to lowman It just fianlly culminated into the police saying O.K. we have had WAY too many wrecks and way too many complaints this year so lets patrol it and slow these guys down some.

For any one who doesn't believe me just look at how many lake runs have been posted on here, and run from this site?? I have yet to see a cop on that road yet. Yeah I said it so go ahead and blame me if they start patroling it, but I think it will be more likely that the loud azz azzhats that pass cars dangerously will be the downfall of that road.

O.K. sorry rant off and Bobby if you head out anywhere holler at me, I'll ride with ya!!

I would bet money that both are right. Mikey hit the nail on the head as to what happens to roads and how they get focused, but you're crazy if you don't think that there's not a cop or 2 that troll these forums, and as much as the idahomotorsports.com forums as well. I would doubt if there's a red flag that goes up with every posted ride, but they troll here. It's probably a guy that's on the cycle patrol or someone that rides a bike off the clock and does it on his own time..

remember that there's many different police agencies around the valley and all are operated independently. they do talk but I doubt if some canyon county officer that may troll on here calls boise county with every ride posted.. they are watching tho

It's not my intent to start a bashing war but...I also gotta say... there are some good cops out there and there are some corrupt cops aswell. If they are patroling an area and you are haulin ass...who's fault is it? There are several tracks around the area (yeah not too close but still) to get your speed fix. and if there are cops lurking around the area... so what? you got something to hide?
ride safe, keep your head down and dont put other people in a situation where they have to call you in...simple

This still active? I'm back in town for a bit before I head right back out again. Had the bike in Seattle for nearly 3 months, not a single issue till the last day and started getting my charging problem again. Fixed (or so I thought), went out riding around here lastweek and it failed again at the gas station. Since then I've picked up one of these http://www.bigbikeparts.com/Inventor...39?catalogNo=1 so I can at least see my impending failure instead of not realizing it until the gauges are dead and it's already too late. I've played around with the bike yesterday and I've got jumper cables just in case.

I haven't been in town for a while, so I don't know of any of the current construction spots and/or routes to avoid...sounds like the cops have been trolling here lately. Send me a text w/ a time and a place and I'll send some texts to the numbers I have in my phone and we'll see who shows.

I've texted about 35+ people that I've got stored in my phone, so we'll see how many numbers are correct, still active, etc if they reply. In the meantime, feel free to text me yourself and I'll let you know.

I DEFINATELY found the wire this time! It's one that I've had issues with in the past, running warmer than all the rest and the voltage dropped when it wiggled it. Time to rerun the wire with a thicker gauge, but in the meantime...it's a nice day for riding! Is anyone going to confirm?
