Rob wants to race me and Dale with their Liter bikes. I told them I'd give them a race if I could roll up in first gear at 20MPH and they could launch from a stop as I came past them. I even extended the race to 1 Mile long to give them the distance they needed to run me down. I think thats about the only way my lowly Stock 600 would ever have the motor/legs to outrun 2 Liter bikes both running Exhausts and mapped with PC's.

Come on Rob, you know you want that race!!

You should actually not do to bad against them Mikey. The R1 runs a high 10 at best and more than likely a mid 11 ( I believe thats what brandon was running) and thats on a stretched wheelbase. The 954 is also a high 10 to mid 11 bike. I believe loopy actually was running in the 10s on his 600rr

Thats why I gave them the extra 3/4 of a mile to run me down. I know from experience that my bike tops at about 167 on the speedo. So accounting for discrepency about 150-155. They should be able to run me down pretty easily. I just know that I have to have my bike would up and screamin for all she's worth before I'd even have a chance against Rob and Dales bikes...LOL

OK but I still want an advantage. You guys have to remember I'm completly stock. No gearing, no exhaust and no PC. The HP numbers alone say that unless you miss a shift or hit the rev limiter before every gear change then you'll simply have the upper hand by at least 7-10 HP and even if you make a mistake or two I have to hit every gear pefect and keep my bike wound up right on the edge to even stand a chance!! I know my bike ain't the fastest out here but I just don't have the monetary funds available to do the mods needed to squeeze that extra bit of juice out of the motor.

Scott there is just no way I could jump 2 liter bikes out of a dig and be able to outrun them. The lower end grunt of a liter bike is too big of a deficet for my bike to keep pace. Once I get my bike wound up then maybe I can keep pace, but until I do the mods like Loopy did to his 600 then there's is just no way. Remember Loop ran a 10.90 with his 600 but it had Exhaust, pc, -1 +4 gearing, the air box mod to flow better air and his extensive knowledge of how to wring every ounce of gogo out of his bike to do that.

Dale says he'll race you for titles after you put that 8 grand exhaust on your bike.

Im up for the challenge, I have not had many chances to get out and see what this bike can do yet. And with me being a new rider I just want to have some fun and learn some.

Do It!
I like the chances of the 600 on this race but more at the 1/4 mile than full mile.

I Ride: CBR 954RR and what ever else I want

That's why i made sure what distance he was talking about.
I don't think I could chase him down in only a quarter mile.

oh. and lets make this clear. the 600 is rolling from a deficit to 20 mph and when he gets to the line even with the liters' , then they get to launch.

So he's got between 50-100' of head start.

Its the mile actually that concerns me, as I am lacking the top end you guys have, guess I will have to catch him before we get all the way to the end.
