I Ride: on sidewalks if needed. | Rob wants to race me and Dale with their Liter bikes. I told them I'd give them a race if I could roll up in first gear at 20MPH and they could launch from a stop as I came past them. I even extended the race to 1 Mile long to give them the distance they needed to run me down. I think thats about the only way my lowly Stock 600 would ever have the motor/legs to outrun 2 Liter bikes both running Exhausts and mapped with PC's.Come on Rob, you know you want that race!! |

I Ride: on sidewalks if needed. | OK but I still want an advantage. You guys have to remember I'm completly stock. No gearing, no exhaust and no PC. The HP numbers alone say that unless you miss a shift or hit the rev limiter before every gear change then you'll simply have the upper hand by at least 7-10 HP and even if you make a mistake or two I have to hit every gear pefect and keep my bike wound up right on the edge to even stand a chance!! I know my bike ain't the fastest out here but I just don't have the monetary funds available to do the mods needed to squeeze that extra bit of juice out of the motor.

I Ride: on sidewalks if needed. | Scott there is just no way I could jump 2 liter bikes out of a dig and be able to outrun them. The lower end grunt of a liter bike is too big of a deficet for my bike to keep pace. Once I get my bike wound up then maybe I can keep pace, but until I do the mods like Loopy did to his 600 then there's is just no way. Remember Loop ran a 10.90 with his 600 but it had Exhaust, pc, -1 +4 gearing, the air box mod to flow better air and his extensive knowledge of how to wring every ounce of gogo out of his bike to do that.

Im up for the challenge, I have not had many chances to get out and see what this bike can do yet. And with me being a new rider I just want to have some fun and learn some.

| Do It!I like the chances of the 600 on this race but more at the 1/4 mile than full mile. |

That's why i made sure what distance he was talking about. I don't think I could chase him down in only a quarter mile. oh. and lets make this clear. the 600 is rolling from a deficit to 20 mph and when he gets to the line even with the liters' , then they get to launch. So he's got between 50-100' of head start. Last edited by Liteone; 06-11-2011 at 11:08 AM. |

Its the mile actually that concerns me, as I am lacking the top end you guys have, guess I will have to catch him before we get all the way to the end.
