From what I know about the structure of your frame, the swingarm bolt is a better bolt to mount your cage up too. Impactech still is running the cage off the rear motor mounts, which works, but has a slight chance of damaging the motor mount. I'm running a Powers cage, which pretty much mounts the same, and some people love em, and some hate em. I haven't dropped my bike yet so I am un-bias. From what I've seen and read, my top choice in cage would be Tygershark and Freestyle Ingenuities for sure though. F.I. makes a sick cage for your year as well, Tony Carbrahol from No Limit is running it, and Jason Britton was also on that bike, now same cage on his 09.

If you want one like that contact Shaner and he could probably build you one for a decent price.

No offence to shaner but the reason they cost hundreds of dollars is from the r&d and engineering. Too nice of a bike to be a gunia pig.

No offense taken. I understand that people are a little skeptical of some guy over yonder who "fabricates". I deal with it every day as I try to grow my business. (Though I do have a college education in metal fab, much of which was EXTENSIVE study in metallurgy and impact stress). But I seem to be having an issue getting tubing anyways so it really doesn't matter.

I should have thought harder before opening my mouth... I had no idea that you had credentials like that. Would you be interested in designing and builing a cage for my zx6r? Also I need the cage that replaces the rear pegs to support more weight (name escapes me at the moment). Maybe you could try that first?
