I hope to soon. I have yet to grow the balls to stand up lol. I can balance it okay sitting down, but that's about it. I know stand ups are better for balance, and look much much better. So yeah, I guess Friday I shall start practicing them.

Well to be honest I cannot judge myself on that particular part, I would have to see what the guys watching say. For me its all like one big blur once it comes up and comes down lol.

Also, I really really like that green shot, so I did some editing to it.

Friday sounds like fun. Need to check with the wife, but maybe have a bbq at the house after SC? This way Bran don't have to haul the bbq out and we can do some bench racing.

You were looking good, you can still take it up a lot higher, just make sure you ease into it at your own pace. I remember when i first started learning, it felt like I was going to loop it and I was only about two feet off the ground, LOL For me stand ups feel way more controlled, I have a better idea of when I'm getting close to balance point (still haven't found it obviously) The best advice I can give you is to take it slow and get in the habit of covering your rear brake, just in case you need it, you might be to panicked to use it but try and get in the habit, it's a good idea.

I dont mind bring the BBQ but I do think that the crew will be burnt out on SC within a few hours. Dons house and some shade sounds like a great follow up to a stent sesh.

Thanks man. yeah my rear brake is always covered right now. I know what you mean about the feeling of flipping it. Maybe if I start doing stand ups and getting the hang of it, I can get it higher without the feeling of me flipping it. I guess Friday we shall see what happens

Ohh and Don that sounds like it would be fun. Would you want us to chip in?

Brandon I agree with you, its hot as hell out there, and hot food with no cold beverage is going to taste not so good.

thats some really good advice, but some better advice would be to get in the habit of using the rear brake everytime you pop the front up.
that way you wont freeze and loop it while covering the rear brake the whole time, lol.
if you are chasing your wheelies till the bike hits the rev limiter, start using the rear brake to bring the bike down before you hit the limiter.
that way you can build muscle memory.

Bailey so if I understand correctly, once I am reaching redline, instead of just easing off the throttle so the engine brakes itself, I should also push down on the brakes just to get in the habit of it?
But wouldn't this cause me to come down a bit hard?

If my F4i were to magically put itself together by Friday I'd be down. But I don't see that happening and it was absolute torture being out there last night watching without being able to join the fun. Plus it's too hot to just stand there.

until you get a lot higher, use the brake to bring you down instead of rolling off the throttle and it should be nice and smooth.

Well I didn't ask if she would be cool with it yet, I know she would be.....

So if people wanted to pool together we can pickup some beverages and stuff to throw on the bbq. That would be the only problem she has, she don't mind picking stuff up, but she don't like using her money. lol

I will post up in a bit if it's cool.

NO NO NO it's supposed to be "running" not "rolling", trust me it's a pita trying to wheelie without the bike running. J/K

On a serious note I'd like to chat with you soon about those race rails for the F4i.

Oh, the F4i has always ran. It just has a little problem actually rolling down the road. Haha. As for the race rails, if you want them I will just build a set and send them your way. You can check out Bailey's cage to see the quality of my work if he'll permit it.
