I Ride: ZX-10R | Does your motorcycle do power wheelies?
I'm talking just plain and simple power... you roll on the throttle and the front wheel launches toward space. I am not talking about dumping the clutch and hold on tight... Please name your bike with a yes or no answer. |

on my k2 1000 I got it up a little off the ground, then I gave up and went to clutch ups, in my opinion clutch ups are the way to go, but that's just my preference for myself, so in the end, whatever works for whoever, do it! Just get that front wheel off the ground and ride that sucker!

'97 YZF750R Yes, have done it and will do it, but don't make it a regular thing as I never could ride a unicycle very well! Probably would be a little easier with a lighter rider over the tank! LOL Last edited by Waxman; 09-29-2010 at 02:12 AM. |

Only at 130mph..... ![]() 02 GSXR 600 But... no, it won't. It will if around 10k, you chop the throttle and then gas it. Or of course if I stand, then it will. But just sitting, and rolling on hard in 1st the front won't come up. Maybe for someone else, but it won't for me. |

my ktm 690 will do it once in a while. :-) When I come out of a corner and try to slide the rear tire, sometimes it doesn't slide and it just grips. The suspension is bottomed out enough so that the rear squats just enough and as I'm exiting corner it will pop up for a few seconds. That's ONLY in first gear riding like a total moron.

Negative Ghostrider... not sure if it is just because the carbs aren't entirely synched, but I think of it like a safety feature - I don't need to worry about the front end coming up if I decide to romp on the throttle haha

Ascot, power, and wheelie are never used in the same sentence. Archaic CBR has carried the front wheel a couple of times. If the front wheel leaves the pavement by 1 inch, I count it. |

I Ride: Retired | Yours should have no problem bouncing up under its own power if you shop the throttle and lay into it. Are we talking straight up, gas on, wheel up in here - lol? -1/+2 will change your bike into a whole new machine. The hardest part is adjusting your mind to know that 7k in first isn't 35 mph anymore. |
