Okay, as we get closer to the AMA races (June 22-24) and the track day immediately after (June 25th), I'm curious who all plans to go. Its also helpful to post up your plans so that we can get everyone together to hang out. Remember to send a message to RideMaster@BoiseRiders.net to get the discount code for the track day.

My plan so far:
Leave Thursday night.
Drop my wife off in Brigham City with her parents [may just ditch my bike(s) & trailer there to avoid hauling them around until the track day]
Continue to the SLC area (near the airport probably) to stay in a hotel room with a bunch of dudes so that we can all hang out, go to dinner, fart each other out, etc when not at the races.
Watch the races on Friday/Saturday/Sunday
Attend the track day on Monday.
Drive back on Monday night.

We're going!!! We would be me, my hubby, my brother and sister-in-law, two other husband/wife couples and one other friend. Of the 9 of us going down, 7 are riding Monday (I'm so excited!!)

Our plans aren't cast in stone yet, but will probably be something like:
Leave sometime Friday (yes we're missing Friday's races) - chill Friday night once we arrive.
Saturday/Sunday - AMA Races!!
Monday - TRACK DAY!
Monday night - veg - I'm quite sure I'll be exhausted as this will be my first "real" track day.
Drive home Tuesday sometime.

I do still have an extra 3-day pass for the races if anyone wants it. We had one more person who was gonna go before he got shipped overseas. Now, we just need to dump his ticket - $80 was purchase price.

On Monday, we are gonna be in garage E45 (I think - I'll check when I get home and update that if it isn't right.) Stop by and say HI!!!

Whats included in the 3 day pass?

Reserved grandstand seating in the Erda Grandstands - Row 4, seat 6 (on the East side of the track) and pit access for all three days (22nd, 23rd, 24th).

I'm not doing the track day but I will be there for the races. Hoz, what hotel you guys staying at and what price did you get? I'm still looking to book a Hotel and I'll be driving down but not sure if anybody is going with me. I'd love to ride share down and have somebody tow my bike for me if they have room. Anyone, anyone?

My brother, his wife and I are going down early Friday morning (I think). He is taking his Aprilia for the track day. I think we already have room reservations in Touele.

What kind of Aprilia does your brother have? I am taking the Falco out for the first time on the track. Kind of freaked about the possibility of rashing my baby, but what the hey. Should be a blast!

Kevin,
He has an RSV Factory (2004 or 05). He did a track day with it not long after he got it and I thought he was crazy. I guess if you don't go overboard and push your limits on the track, it shouldn't be much worse than a "normal" ride in the twisties around here...

Kevin - you're gonna have to be careful with that Falco.......you just might rash it up trying to keep up with my little R6 - she's been studying track lines in the garage and she's ready! Let the trash talking begin.........

Oh hell, pushing it on the track is still better than a "normal" ride in the twisties here.
I'd sure take an RSV (factory or not) to the track. If I ever manage to get a Tuono, it will be making many trips the track.

Like Karl (CBRF2Old) said, I'm in Looking forward to meeting some of you and really looking forward to the trackday. We have a room in Tooele so the commute to the track will be short. Have not decided where we are staying the night of the 25th yet though. May stay over by the airport. Not sure yet. And KBOM, like HOZ said, your safer pushing it on the track than on the street. I did a couple of things to cool my anxiety of taking the priller to the track. I put Pilot Race's on and borrowed a set of tire warmer's. Made all the difference in my outlook.
