I Ride: R6 | Coolant at the track
I recently heard that there may be shops in Boise using Engine Ice for track bikes. This isn't ok. If you've asked a shop to prep your bike for the track or put track approved coolant in your bike, make sure it's not Engine Ice! I just want to make sure no one gets stopped in tech and has to go flush the Engine Ice. Or worse... a bike goes down and glycol gets on the track. You can use water, or wetter water. I've noticed quite a few shops are stocking wetter water now. Check your bikes guys. If it's blueish/purpleish in color, it could be engine ice. | |
