Thanks for reminding me to do that. I just got back from the coast and was going to go ride, that would have been sad...

Oh you know I'll be there!

Just inquired on a few extra parts for sept 1st. I'm excited to try them out. I've been wanting to try some of these for awhile now.

But I'm looking at a few basic track bike parts. I'm mostly looking forward to the rearsets. The levers will be black. And I haven't had a lap timer on yet this year. I might not get the stands if shipping is a lot. The rest of it I'm almost 100% sure getting before Sept 1st.

nice. Ever heard of the Moty AFR? I guess that one will give realtime A/F adjustments and provides more data than Bazazz, but don't know anyone that has this installed.

Re: Apex track day @ MMP Date: September 01st, 2008

Ryan, Sarah, and Ming

We need to get our bikes over to WD's house one of these nights so we can get the trailer set up for the bikes. I am leaving Friday at 3pm and won't be back until late Sunday night. So what night next week will work for everyone. Also check your PM, Ming has a suggestion for hotel room, I don't care which way it goes but the rest of y'all need say yay or nay.

Me and Sara will be gone all weekend too. So for me any other time after 6pm will work. Sara works late though. Umm I think the earliest she'll be off next week is 8pm on wed. Are we going to put all 4 bikes in the trailer or just 3? If just three, me, you, and Ming can do the trailer part without Sara.

Re: Apex track day @ MMP Date: September 01st, 2008

Don was wanting to see if we could get all 4 in that trailer. I think we could tell by only having the three of us there though, as we could always move one bike back - the 2 yammy's should be similar in size (give or take 2-3 inches in width and length).

This isn't Grandmas house, no rivers and woods to go through, you are not Tigger and you don't have to do anything funny to get here. Ryan knows the way and I would suggest just riding here.

ATTENTION PLEASE... This just in.

I'm too broken to ride a bike. I won't be able to do this today. Tomorrow, the next day, in fact I'm not sure if my foot will go in a boot on Sept 1st but I will wrap the fucker and take ibuprofen to ride the track... As long as it wouldn't be dangerous to anyone. If it's just sore and hurts a bit I'll man up and ride the track day.

My bet is that while camping he was chasing around in the dark and busted himself up over a root or a twig in the dark.

Just my

Oh, and you best not be talking about setting the trailer up, you best find a ride over then and you can sit your happy medicated rear in a chair to watch then.

My foot, ankle, knee, hip, and elbow. The left side of my body hit a jet ski at 40mph. Foot might be broken. Cut in my elbow down to the bone. I'm walking around with a crutch for now. Hoping it's ready in 2 weeks.

Man Don. I'm sorry but the idea of what I wanted to do after work wasn't to go sit around in this heat. I couldn't help any. If you guys wanna wait and play it by ear that works. But it's up to you guys. We only need 3 bikes to fit in there cause one can go in stubbys truck. You guys should be able to work that out with your bikes and minus my busted up self there LOL.

But I got good meds at the house and you can lay down on the couch and watch movies. But you being there so we can come in and give you grief is really the main objective at this point. DAMN!

Sorry to hear about that bud, let us know if there is anything we can do.

2 weeks ago they were racing 2 out there. This week it was a show piece, but it did make it out. Sadly I only have pics of it while in the Garage where the rider meetings were held.

I was at the track last weekend for the MoM race weekend. Got to purchase tires from Scott for a sweet deal, be a pitch b*&@h, and volunteer for the grid for all of the races on Sunday. I even got to see 2 of my 1000's out there tearing it up, although one had a clutch issue while racing against Turpin(?) in the afternoon. That was an exciting race between those two, until the #1 bike had mechanical issues.

You should have came down, the amateur leaders were running 1:36s on the west track while the experts (Turpin) was pulling 1:30s. There were several good races. Although it did suck not having my bike, and gear.

Ming next season you should join me for a couple of Clubman races. You are only allowed 3 before having to move up, but you get more track time, for less money.

Re: Apex track day @ MMP Date: September 01st, 2008

So it looks like only 3 bikes are going to fit in the trailer. We have the trailer lined out for our bikes, and hopefully either Ryan or Sarah's bike will squeeze in the other empty spot.

Who wants to reserver the room(s) for Sunday night? Are we renting a garage or do i need to bring the canopy?
