the picture was taken with a nikon D40 and then I did some editing with photoshop 7.. the dramatic effect was all done by photoshop not the camera..

yes, what did you do in PS7 to render it like that?

it looks to be like a color sketch?

the effects that were done was changing the color, the detail, and ajusting the varaint boost. once I altered those I used some noise reduction software called topaz to make it clear and non pixelated..
hope that answers your question

Phfft!, I'd airbrush the wrinkles out of the blue tape on the headlights, (maybe splash some eyes on it), and frame it!
Since you have chosen to be a purist (aka Jackson Pollock) and won't be happy until it is perfect, post up the final result. Unless it has "Copy", "Draft", or something else plastered over it!

J/k, Very nice work.

Re: HDR trackday pic

the thing is I have been trying to learn how to do this in PS, IE to make it look like it is painted, but every time I do it in PS it changes it to a gray scale or blue in color..

Re: HDR trackday pic

IE shouldn't display the colors any different unless you are using some weird colors / variations?..

what IE? no in PS

IE was not Internet explorer,

it was the I.E., it is a Latin term in typing. it is other word for "this is"

id est (i.e.) "that is" "That is (to say)", "in other words", or sometimes "in this case", depending on the context. Never equivalent to exempli gratia (e.g.), although frequently so used.[1]

Id est, i.e., "that is", is commonly abbreviated "i.e."; in this usage it is sometimes followed by a comma, depending on style.[2]

That pic looks AWESOME! That will be the latest desktop background at work for me. The only I have is to maybe try to photoshop the porta potty out of the background?
