everyone knows that if you want something seen on a racer or his/her bike then the best spot is on their ass....

take a-star for example....

You mean take Ben Spies for example?

You just want to look at my ass and get close up photos of it for your garage wall. Remind me to bring a chastity belt for my ass, next time you go to the track with me.

You don't have to keep up if you're taking photos . And I bet you would do just fine following me around. You aren't slow, and you aren't fast (like the rest of us). You should stop putting your skills down.

I guess on the next track day we will have some fun if I get a session off from my instructor. I'm willing to bet though that you will have no problems keeping up.

I'll be too busy trying to figure out what corner I'm on....lol
Maybe Oct 2nd I will understand the full course a little better.

Its not really putting the "skills" down....its the I have no idea what I am or am not capable of...

Mmp 10/10/09

Hey guys, I am looking to catch a ride down to Miller with someone who has a trailer and some room for a 636, possibly 2 if Matt comes. Our original ride bailed. Or if anyone else doesn't have transportation, I got a SUV, just need to borrow a trailer and get a hitch ball. This is coming up next weekend, and I heard there are a few people going down. Let's make some plans!

I may be able to hook you up with a trailer that would work, although it has no wheel chocks and strapping the bikes down may be a challenge unless you want to install some floor hoops.

I have a trailer with three rails (you would only be able to use two for street bikes). The only problem is the wheel bearings would need to be repacked for a trip that far (I have not done them in a while). Does your SUV have a receiver hit or just the hole for the ball?

I have a receiver and all. Unless other people need to catch a ride, I am trying not to take my vehicle though. If I can help it. With oversized tires and a 4.3L vortec engine I don't get very good gas milage. hopefully others have room for another bike and myself.

Well it looks like a spot in the trailer and van has opened up. Ming if you need/want a ride, it is ready.

Not so much as pussing out (kind of like a guy on a KTM who turned around in the middle of a ride) but reality has set in. The reality is I will never be as good as the GREAT STUBBY. So why even try.

GOOD LUCK today.

Bike is almost ready! Forks and plastics are back on. Thanks to Stubby for letting me borrow his fork stand and Waldo for doing my fork seals!
You guys rock.

Just gotta adjust and lube the chain once more, and I should be golden. signals, lights, all taped. Mirrors removed. (Just gotta remember to go get some gas and run her real quick to make any minor adjustments before I let her loose. (Dirty whore of a bike.)

Anyone wanna donate some pucks to our cause?
MMP

p.s. Waldo, PM me when you guys have the ETD worked out.

why do you need pucks donated? is the goal to melt the puck into some deformated piece of plastic? They are feelers....not training wheels designed to hold you up......

I actually don't drag very much after the first couple of laps. Only when I'm on the edge of my tires, and when getting used to the turns and my suspension setup. It just sounds cool to melt pucks. Not necessarily useful, and very costly.

your welcome to the Buell pucks if you want them..they should have enough life on them for a day easily....i guess it just depends on your style though
