I Ride: 08 GSXR1000 street 08 GSXR600 race bike 99 TZ125 Smoker 07 KTM 250xcw dirt xr50 pit bike 49cc Pocket bike | Well Brandal had some issues with the motor on the Duc. Raced a borrowed SV and did well. I want to say he ended up with with second, and 2 thirds for overall points in his classes. I can't remember though. Whipple did well on the CBR. I finished 6th overall for GTU, and 7th overall for GTO. Coturi, well I'll let him say. Tommy, Pete, Garth, and Gary from Hailey did well. Official results haven't been posted, but once they do i will add them to the point standings tables. The wind really sucked on Sunday, lost my pop-up while trying to take it down. I thought Coturi was going to go sailing with the pop-up. And it started to rain on the way home. They predicted rain after 12pm, but it held off for the majority of the races. So I guess the weekend could have been better, but it could have been much worse too. The weather for the track day this weekend is looking good. Only now I get to make another trip to SLC in Oct on the 24th as they are supposed to hand out trophies down to 7th place in the Novice classes... not looking forward to three trips in four weeks. |

I didn't ride much this season, and this will be my 1st and only MMP trip this season. So B group for me. But I'll try to play tag with you if you want. p.s. If you bring your camera, you should follow me a lap, I wanna see how I'm entering and exiting turns.

I signed up for "B" (the faster group), but emailed and asked if I could switch to "C." They said no problem.

"A" time slot is reserved (for Salt Lake Motorsports?); the "B" time slot is basically the A-paced group. I'm not A-pace, so I asked if I could move to the "C" time slot.

I Ride: a 2008 KLR705 | They must have made some changes to the schedule this season. Last year they ran A, B, and salt lake as a seperate group. But I believe they had a C group for customer appreciation? They have always been cool about swapping stickers, at least wen I went, so I'll. Start b, and see from there.

I think you guys are totally over thinking this group thing...if your comfortable riding your bike at a faster pace then just sign up for B. If you are in any way freaked out about being passed by guys that will pass you close enough to reach out and smack you silly....dont sign up for "A" If you dont race or do track days on a REGULAR basis...I'd suggest just dont even bother with "A". If there happens to be a "C" group when you go...and have never been, sign up for "C"....see were your comfort level is...then decide if you feel like shooting for "B"....although I didnt really feel like "B" and "C" were really any different....both groups will have people that likely have never been there and are going to make mistakes...like they say....dont take anything to the track that your not willing to lose or bluntly...f u c k up. just try to be consistant and predictable when your out there.....no stupid garbage. ![]() P.S. if you want to have more of a chance to feel liek your all alone out there.....do an MMP OPEN TD next year
