Last year I did what they call now a "torde" What it was it was a class with a few people telling us about the flags, signing something that they arent responsible for injury or something like that and then we all had a "lap" with an instructor... which of what I remember he didnt really teach us anything... So... WTF is the Torde? dont really wanna register for something I already did... |

I was a first time rider at MMP last Saturday and was not required to take any kind of TORD. During the rider's meeting, they will take all the noobs aside and cover flags, passing rules, etc. Then give you a once around the track. That's really deisgned to show entry and exit points. That's it. If you want to learn riding technique - I highly recommend any of the ART classes through Apex. |

TORD is for MMP trackdays not APEX. APEX does not require them. |

I think it's much more significant for car open trackdays. It's more of a formality for bikes.

Thanks MissKaos! That answers my question... maybe next year i'll go for an actuall school but those things are spendy! I'll check out those ART classes you mention...
