Yamaha Owners Track Day

Its that time of year again. Mikey and I went last year and it was a blast! There wasn't a whole lot of people. The track was not crowded at all. I cant wait to do it again this year.

Miller Motorsports
Trackday is FREE to Yamaha owners
Trackday is September 27th and 28th

You have to signup at Snake River. Last year I was able to get added to the list last minute by the trackday coordinator at Miller.

Anyway. Im taking the Escalade and trailer again if anyone wants to split travel costs.

Whos going

Umm I hadn't posted on this one. JJ seemed to be doing a good enough job trash talking. I was actually just thinking I might wanna find a cheap yammy so I could do a free track day since I have yet to see suzuki do anything like this, but thanks for thinking of me though

I'll pencil it in as tentative. If there is a large demand, I may also haul my 20' enclosed trailer down and should be able to fit ~6 bikes/gear if needed.

I was using your name as a generality for trashing threads. Thanks for being a good sport. It wasnt a shot at you rather a shot at Josh for talking trash when he doenst have a Yammi to even come. As far as I know Dukllr said Ducati does this same thing but I havent seen it. I dont think any other brands do this for there customers. This is for anyone who owns a Yammi. You didnt have to just buy an 09 or 2010 to do the trackday. I think thats awesome for a manufacture to do. Plus You get to meet senior VPs and talk to the R&D guys. Its a awesome experience.

Last year there were a lot of team Yamaha riders that were factory guys. They got to use the Factory Yeam Yamaha Paddock. There were probably 10 semi-pro to pro riders and another 15-20 just regular dudes like us. Like I said there was plenty of room on the track. Almost no crashes and got to meet a lot of Yamaha Big Wigs that were there on demo bikes.

As far as needing another setup to get down there. I really doubt it. I popped the question pretty late in the game last year so people didnt have a lot of time to get time of work and make plans. Last year it was just Mikey and I and Mikey sold the FZ6 so he wont be going. If you would rather drive im not opposed to rolling with you and chipping in on gas. The Escalade is a road trip monster. Super comfy plus tvs and plenty of room.
I hope a lot of people can make it this year. All you gotta pay for is to get down there!!

Im gonna start outting people...

Brandon BOTP has the R1 (we have a bad roadtrip record) LOL
ISB Ryan has a track bike Yammi
Sean(packer) has the R6
Christy has the R6
The guy that lives by me with the 2009 Raven R1
Craig has an older R6 I think

Help me out with the list!!

I'm sitting here wondering the same thing. I would miss 1 History class, 1 Chinese class, 1 Math class, and 1 Politics class.

So I'm probably NOT going to go, but you still can't borrow my bike.
