Don't be riding up Hwy 55. They started chip sealing today between Shadow Valley golf course and Horshoe Bend. All 13 miles of it. There goes another riding route!

That road is access to Blacks Canyon. and Lowman Loop. that really is a pisser that they picked that road right now.

Good timing too as no one will be using it on Labor Day weekend.I know the work shuts down on Thursdays but still.I don't remember that stretch of road as being in that bad of shape.

It's not. ITD just fixed the rough sections, and need the chip seal to hide their shoddy work. The new asphalt looks like a two year old spread it out with a toy shovel.

Like I said, feel free to text/call me. I won't post my number on a message because I don't know everyone on the forum and I don't want some cop calling me and asking for details. CMS1172 and I are organizing this so if you have his number already he will have details too. We are still deciding where to go so we can avoid all this asinine construction and still have a good ride. I think whatever we do will be mostly scenic. Feel free to put in your two cents with one of us as well, I don't know most of the routes around here anyway.

i didn't say they don't profile, as I was profiled by cpd for a long time. But the courts don't recognise it (as in cops can profile all they want)
