I know this is a little early but is anyone planning on going to the labor day Apex event? If so want to split a garage?

Amazing track day! 70 and sunny all day, almost no wind. A group was cut-throat and B was VERY fast. Traffic was super light, only 80 people signed up, by the end of the track it was pretty much private lapping!

Yup! It was the best trackday ever! Some of my fastest laps out there yet. Didnt know anyone else from boise showed up.

miller is putting on the full track again oct 13? not apex, miller. its $200. however, you are required to complete a $75 track orientation class. just the once tho.

I wonder if they will waive the Track Orientation if you have riden with Apex?

I do not see anything for the 13th, but it looks like an open track day for motorcycles on Friday the 8th. Is this what you are refering to?

Don't worry about the orientation--it's just a brief discussion in the morning for new riders. I wouldn't even bother signing up for it. If you want to attend the orientation, just show up.

My understanding is that the T.O.R.D.E. is more significant for car trackdays, where it lasts for the entire morning.

Damn wish I could have made it, I have also been looking at the MMP oct 8th day. The last time I did one of these they would take any riding school, like Califorina superbike school or other trackday org rider orientation. I have not seen the Oct 13 full track, where is that?

I think the 10/13 thing is a typo. As far as I know, this is all that's left for the year:

9/27: Yamaha-only trackday (track?)
9/28: Yamaha-only trackday (track?)
10/8: MMP open trackday (Full)
10/23: Apex trackday (East)

Huh looked back at the calendar and they no longer have the full track on the 13th. but now have the outer track on the 8th.
