| Succor Creek with Kids - How to get there?
Hey guys... First let me tell you about the ride we are looking for. We will be in a Honda Odyssey minivan with trailer in tow, so we can't offroad too much. I have my wife, and two young daughters with me (9 & 7), they can hold their own, but its their first ride of the season, so I wanted to do smooth trails with them. We have our hearts set on trying to see the Succor Creek area (and we live in Nampa off Karcher). I have heard you can go through Homedale, or through Marsing. What I need to know is this: Which way is the best way to go considering our transportation (minivan), and will work best for the kids (we are on dirtbikes BTW) Can you also help with directions? ![]() James |

Thanks! That is helpful, though daunting... I thought you could go in around the Marsing area, like around McBride Rd or something? Anyone know? James |

Well we found our way... Went through Homedale then turned left on Succor Creek Rd. We drove ten miles in and parked on a side trail, unloaded, then road the remaining 8 miles to the campground and bridge. Just dirt roads for the most part, but beautiful scenery for everyone, some caves, plus the awesome creek.... Good times!!! Thanks! James |

any pics of your ride? Props to you guys. 8 miles seems like a lot for 7 & 9. Way to go! |

I have a buddy that leads Jeep runs out in that area every year and is an expert at the roads/trails but I saw your thread too late to get you hooked up. I'm interested in taking my family out that way also and dirt roads are just fine.
