I Ride: In the dirt | Tuesday night dual sport ride?
Was thinking of a Tuesday night ride. Would prefer to go high up and get in the trees behind Bogus Basin. Pine Creek road or we could go up Rocky Canyon road, Boise ridge to Bogus and explore behind Bogus? Open to Ideas. I'm just jones'n for a ride up high and take some pics of the Mountains. It gets cooler up there at night. Anyone game?? |

I'd be up for a ride Thurs or Fri. The woods are good. |

Count me in. I'm all for getting up to Bogus elev. quickly and then pushing north. I'd like to follow the ridge rd. north to Harris Cr. rd. and then take Hawley Mnt. rd. up to the lookout at 7300 ft. It's about 25 miles or so north of Bogus. |

Hey James, will you be riding your XR400 and if so is it street legal? If not, could you arrange to meet us up at the resort and what time? 8th st. to Boise ridge rd. is an option too but it ends at Bogus Basin rd. and is then paved for 5-6 miles before getting to the resort and dirt road. |

530-545 would be good James. 99Bassa will ride and hopefully Knobbyfeet. We rode last week in the evening leaving around 6 but time passed quickly especially after a stop for a bite to eat and a drink. So an early start is preferred. Also, we most probably would ride a loop east or west after we come off Hawley mnt. so you may be on your own returning to Bogus Basin. Knobbyfeet, how's it looking for tomorrow? |
