I had fun, and congrats to all who attempted the course. Don did great for his first race, minus roosting all of us in the pits.... you JA!! Dale and cliff kicked some butt as well. Was good to see everyone out there.

Seems how it was the first big race, how sore is everyone?

I Ride: As often as possible!

I had a great time out there! It was a good learning experience for sure. I am definately going to have to make some changes to my bike setup for the next race. I need a little bit taller gearing, as I kept getting passed by 450's on the wide strait sections of the sand washes simply because I couldnt go fast enough. I would literally be 5th gear pinned out and some dude would pass me going like 5mph faster than me and then I would have to pass them all over a gain. Was kindof frustrating when that crap happened. I did totally miss my 450 for that race, it had way longer legs and was more stable in the sandy stuff, but oh well, the 250 did really well for not knowing how to set it up before hand. The next race will be better!

And yeah, I am a little sore but not too bad. The race definately showed me that I was plenty well prepared mentally for the race but was far from prepared physically. I guess I need to start spending alot more time on the bicycle and hitting the weights to get my body weight down and my endurance up!

My 2 buddies also had a great time, and both said that they were for sure wanting to do some more events soon!

Thanks ever body. It was fun but i cost myself @ least 6 places, I stopped to pick a kids bike up when he was pinned under it.

i may not do that again, too many people to pass after that.
