I Ride: 2011 Honda CRF 450R

New here

Hi - I am 42 years old and just bought my very first dirt bike, a Honda CRF 250R! I'm buying all my gear and a hitch carrier tomorrow. I'm totally jacked. It has been a long time since I've ridden, and it was mostly the Trials, so I am really excited to get going...slowly at first.

I saw the thread on all the places to ride, but can anyone recommend a good place near Boise that would be good for me to get to know this bike and re-orient myself?

I would like to ride with someone of eventually.

Kris

Hey Kris, welcome to the forum. We have several people here who ride dirt a lot. You should try to pm Whitedevil or liteone, they should be able to help you out.

Kris!

So you got yourself a real fun toy there! If you are just looking to get a good feel for your new bike then Pleasant Valley would probably be a great place to start out. It has plenty of open space and has some fun cow trails, places to get some air, or play in a sand wash.

But depending on your skill level, there is a lot of places to go play. I get out of work anytime between 4 n 5, and would be happy to get together with you, as I am sure Liteone would also.

Feel free to send a text.
