Looks a lot cleaner with the rear pegs off and the blue tape makes the wheels stand out with the rest of the bike. I like it!

i dont think so
i've only ridden on a few streets so far. not a whloe lot of time to ride. mostly on like eagle rd and state st.

There are. I've only used Woodcrafts and Sato rearsets. The Sato's are pretty nice, but not as solid as the Woodcrafts, and they have quite a few more pieces. I had a bolt rattle loose on the track with the Satos the first race weekend I used them. Never had that with the Woodcrafts after many races.

I have a few racing friends that use Vortex, so I've seen them but never used them. I wasn't a big fan of the way the footpeg looked or all the holes (although it provides a lot of adjustment). They seem to like them though. I've heard good things about the Giles rearsets too, but I've never seen those. Although an extra $100-200 for Sato or Giles isn't worth it IMO.
