well... there were two options in this scenario...... A: STOP or B: RUN! power to weight ratio! plus if the charger was doing 148 and barely keeping up, you could of been gone. R-Tard

i'll tell ya what. you find a car, and have someone fly by past you at 135 while you are doing 55-65 and tell me you can keep up :P

I Ride: '07 GSXR 600 | well odds are more against you vs. a curvy mountain type road. dont make me go all statistic on you... ![]() just like in the beginning of the video you hear another LEO on the radio sayin he is coming that way. it would be a lot easier to ditch them on the twisties. |

I Ride: k4 busa | Ok first of all I wouldn't have run. Second if I was gonna run I wouldn't have stopped. That was stupid. Was said before but if the charger was doing 148 (I own one he was about tapped out) and barely keeping up, pin it and hold on until you get far enough away that can't see you and take it to surface streets. They won't know what exit you took and you could hide easily. Just sayin. |

![]() They said on the video that the guy had mechanical problems.... Not that I would encourage that or anything.

I Ride: k4 busa | He didn't have mechanical problems. He was just trying to beat felony. Which he still gets by the way. |

The further you are out in the sticks, the less roads there are. The less roads there are, the easier it is to get caught. Has no one here seen COPS before? Out here in the west, those wide open spaces are a hinderance to getting away with it. They always catch the bikes. The longer the chase goes on, the more cops that join in, eventually, they pick you off in a gas station, filling up. LOL!

I Ride: k4 busa | I heard that but I don't think so. He also said that long before he got out of the car or got the car stopped. You may be right but I still think the guy was trying save face. |

and if you know where this video is, you'll know there aren't many exits in the area. I agree with Steven if you try to run on a straight road you're screwed. You can be tracked easily via plane, cars, radios, or helicopter. Not to mention that R6 has a max speed of 160 on a good day, but bouncing off the rev limiter for a long distance on the freeway and you will have mechanical issues. I'd also be willing to bet that he geared the bike, so he won't even come close to hitting 160. Running is just stupid but to each their own.

Nope, but I did ride around with dear old dad who was the BOISE CO. LEO a few decades ago. Not one person that he ever chased, got away. And quite a few tried.

Take a look at the sign. Box Elder County fairgrounds. There is nothing out there at all. One road, and they were on it. good thing he stopped before killing himself or someone else. The officers treated him very well considering the danger he put them into. |

At least he was wearing proper motorcycle squid attire (white shorts) while doing 155-160 |
